Rienie Lüdick – Sirkel Overberg

Ek is gebore as Carolina Maria Van Straaten in die destydse Rhodesia, Bulawayo.

In 1995 begin ek ‘n splinternuwe loopbaan.

I was sent to do Tourism workshops and courses. I qualified as a SATOUR Guide and have the wonderful opportunity to take visitors and overseas tourists on tours in the Overstrand area. After almost 8 years I leave the Tourism Industry, and become my husband’s assistant in the manufacturing of Weaving and Spinning equipment. These items are made, and personally delivered all over South Africa.

My Vision and Mission is to motivate and encourage the younger generation to join our organization which has meant such a lot to me. I would like to see that the Women’s Agricultural Association becomes “Young People friendly”, where they can come and learn from us “oldies”, and feel comfortable in their presence. WAA will have to renew their vision, make place for a new generation, keep up with modern trends and revise some old rules and regulations. We desperately need to make WAA a “WOW” ORGANIZATION and we need to reach out and INVEST IN OUR YOUNG WOMEN.

Much Blessings to you all / Baie seëninge aan julle almal.
