We are a spendthrift nation as far as water usage is concerned and the population needs to be educated on the more efficient utilisation of this scarce resource.

We had the pleasure of learning more about philately, compliments of a very enthusiastic speaker, Mr. Clive Alexander. He gave a talk on philately which studies the meaning behind postage stamps, a veritable study of history itself.
An icing demonstration showed how to turn ordinary biscuits into real party treats.
Competition entries were of a very high standard. Arts and Handicraft as well as Needlecraft competitions were very competitive and had the most entries.
